I was really excited to see this topic. However my heart sank when you mentioned lipid nanoparticles. I believe that lipid Nano particles are toxic in themselves. In addition the way regulations work is that if something is investigated as a drug then the natural version cannot be used anymore. This is what the FDA tried to do with NAC for instance. You can still buy NAC but for example you cannot pay for it with PayPal, as sale is now restricted. I thought after our experience with the toxic so-called vaccines that we would be less trusting of the three letter agencies. This line of research will probably end with making naturally available substances once again illegal, and only Pharmaceutical hideously expensive copycat products legally available.

Lipid nanoparticles have nothing to do with the psychedelics. The point is that they have to make serotonin able to cross the cell membrane. This will be done by modifying the serotonin molecule a little bit. It could be wrapped in an LNP, but molecule modification is easier and does not have any LNP with it as a result. Hope this alleviates your concern.

That really colorful surreal one with the woman in the middle, her face taking up one third of the image. There is a globe on the upper right with mountains in it. The upper left has a forest. Further down on the left, the imagery takes on an underwater feel with anenomae and coral. The lower right has some sky with perhaps a dormant volcano at the bottom and subtle depictions of neurons hovering like stars.

Now that we know that the SSRI "data" was largely fabricated and based on unproven speculation, we have the new movement in Big Pharma funded psychiatry of pushing psychedelics as our next great panacea.

Drugs will never heal a damaged society. What about banning all wars? How about universal health insurance? How about free education? How about imprisoning those who poison our soil, our food, our water and our air? How about imprisoning those who mandate deadly experimental genomic modification therapy on us and our children?

The doctor failed to mention that LSD-25 was used extensively by the CIA in insane mind control experiments for DECADES in Operation MK-Ultra among others.

Maybe we wouldn't be so depressed in such a world.

I'm curious about the finding that SSRI data was largely fabricated - so looking for the source (I'm generally interested in how data are used to come to conclusions...). Is this one, from Scientific American? (which cites a variety of sources): https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/many-antidepressant-studies-found-tainted-by-pharma-company-influence/. In addition, we studied in statistics how perfectly ok data can be variously interpreted depending on what one wants to "help" the reader conclude.

" so they have to make drugs ..." because some people are not inclined to want to take psychedelics. This statement has totally ruined my day. They do not have to make drugs. However, they will make drugs, they will make the natural substances illegal ( again ), the drugs will have horrible side effects, there will be class action lawsuits, the Pharma companies will factor that into the pricing, nobody will benefit from the class action lawsuits except for the lawyers, the people suffering side effects will not get any relief. Not exactly the same scenario we are seeing with the covid shots, since with the covid shots there is no liability...

Anyone recall the military scientist who jumped out of a high rise window after taking LSD?
