I took Trulicity for five years. I stopped when the gastroparesis became too much to bear. Now walking 10,000 steps and just taking Tresiba. Morning blood sugars are high, but have dropped from 275 to 155 and keep falling.
Perfect morning blood sugar is not worth never being able to completely evacuate your bowels. Now I'm fine and regular like a clock. I will just keep increasing my daily walk until my morning blood sugars are normal. The weight loss coming with the walking high get me off the insulin eventually.
Either way, non-diabetics taking GLP-1 agonists is insane. Get off your butt and walk.
